Blue German Rams

Hey I'm going to be setting up a 20g tank with german rams and other fish. The question i have is what kind of fish are good tankmates for german rams and how many (ballpark figure) can i put in a 20g tank?
Also how should i decorate it, do like plant cover and rocks or prefer one over the other?

I just setup a 75g with German Blue Rams and I'm keeping a Cardinal Tetras and some Flying Foxes with them.

You can put cherry barbs, many kinds of tetras, dwarf, sparkling or honey gouramis, harlequin rasboras, cory cats, khuli loaches, etc, etc, etc. They are quite peaceful fish, but they will run others away from their area esp when they are laying eggs. Mine have great personalities, too.
