Blue dumbo red guppy

Overhere some pictures of one of my blue dumbo red guppies.

The scales are good to be seen in these pictures...

Wow, he looks like a betta splendens. Pectoral fins are Huge !

That's why it's called a dumbo guppy. Other names of dumbo guppies are "big ear guppie"s and "elephant ear guppies".
The socalled "kalymma gene" is responsible for the overgrown pectoral fins.

I haven't made the "Dumbo" correlation when posting... But now you mention it. That name is spot on.

Wow, that is an amazingly colored fish. I've never seen anything like that.
