Hey

Anyone got any information on this fish?
I've tried google but can't find anything of use.

Just stuff like tank size etc would be helpful if you guys have anything?

I have a pair of Doryrhamphus dactyliophorus, they normally prefer a species tank but I have had min ein my community tank for over a year now (I think), they are very lively & feed well on Mysis & Pods

Apparently they are NOT good additions to a seahorse tank due to th efact they are prone to some virus that is deadly to seahorse's

Oh & mine hate my Cleaner Shrimps for some reason but other than that none of my livestock bother them

Feeding - I squirted Mysis into a short small peice of pipe (near where the pipes hang out) that way none of my other livestock could eat the pipes fill

So they eat readily or would i need plenty of pods?

I fed Mysis every night (fed flake at the same time to distract teh other livestock - soem thimes it worked & well sometimes it didnt)

I also topped up my Pods every moth or so

I found/find them very easy to look after tbh

Defo ask to see them feed before buying though
