Do Blue Acara's willing eat guppies, young and adult? I'm thinking of getting a pair for breeding, but I want to get a type of cichlid that will gladly eat guppies since I have a never ended supply of them, Lol. That of course wouldn't be it's only food source, but more as an occasional meal or treat. I do know there are some types of fish that won't eat other fish, no matter how small, so I wanted to check with someone who keeps them to see if these will.

How young ?

At around 2" I.M.E they will gladly eat guppies  , just break it up a little [ not the gups , the diet ] and give them cichlid sticks and other varieties of food .
