Alrighty, so, I have 2 fish and a frog. My fish eat quite a lot, and when I try to give them a bloodworm as a treat, usually the frog doesnt get any, and the fish end up getting all of them. My frog usually never comes to the surface, and I want him to get a treat, too.

How can I get these bloodworms to sink, considering they're so small and they float? :/

Is this impossible, or is there some way to make this happen?

squish em together into a little ball?

get the frozen ones and plop them in semi frozen? should sink?

stick em in a little net and stick the net on the bottom of the tank?

well one thing you can try is to soak them in some of the tank water before putting them in. ie.. get a shot glass, scoop up some tank water, put the bloodworms in and let them rehydrate (Im assuming your using freeze-dried) while stirring for a few minutes. Then they should hve a better chance to sink...

If they're not freeze dried, they should sink

Ox :good:

If using frozen bloodworm, i use my secret weapon - a £1 syringe I got from a vets. Its a 100ml syringe, so I defrost the bloodworm in a raki dish with some fish tank water, then sook them into the syringe. pushing them out at a semi decent rate get the bloodworm floating at all levels of the tank.

Yes, I have the freeze dried. :/

I'll try that, Ox.

Dg, this makes me want the frozen ones!
