I was feeding bloodworms the other day and some got away into the gravel :X.

Now my question is

1. Would they die?
2. Would they multiply?
3. What can i do?

Only if fish gets to them, or you nuke your aquarium.

2. Would they multiply?
Bloodworms are midge fly larvae. They can't breed until they metamorph into an adult midge fly. They may even get a chance to breed, but they won't multiply, since only place that they can breed will be in your aquarium full of fish. So it will most likely be a temporary nuisance.

Not a whole lot, but with any luck, your fish may find them before they become adults. The good news is that, midge fly don't bite. Bad news is that, they do grow rather quickly, and you might wind up with a few mosquito-looking flies. If this bothers you, you might want to consider giving your aquarium a through cleaning. Use the cleaning procedure that won't kill your bacteria.

Next time, you might want to throw them in a freezer for an hour or so. Then defrost and feed them to the fish. Their nutritional value should still be high since they were killed very recently. Better yet, stick with critters that can't live outside water at any phase in their life cycle (e.g. daphnia).

They will have to come to the surface to emerge as adult flies, so the fish will almost certainly get them on their way up :)
