ok another daft question, well a few actually  i only have a few guppys a couple amano shrimp and 2 bamboo shrimp, is it worth buying bloodworms for them as i see alot of you do feed this? also whats best the dried, live or pellet type, if i bought the live type, how would i store them? my lfs sells them in small quantities but in plastic bags, can i put them in a plastic container, will they need a lid, are they likely to crawl out? how many should i feed

I buy frozen bloodworm in the little icecube type packs lasts for ages and if you only have little stock you can cut the blocks down.

Downside of bloodworm, live ones won't live all that long and do have a risk of disease. They don't eat the same food as in the wild so they can't be fed as a sole food as they haven the micro nutrients that they would have in the wild. Dried need to be soaked in tank water for a few minutes before adding to the tank. Have never used the pellet type.

:good: frozen sounds good to me, think i'll try that, it sounds easier to use

i use dried bloodworm havent seen my fish touch it yet
