Would it be ok to buy fresh bloodworm from a fishing tackle shop and freeze it ?

This would work out a lot cheaper than buying the frozen cubes from my LFS.

Also if i was to hatch lots of Brine Shrimp could i also feeze them in cubes and store them ?

I used to work in a fishing tackle shop and i sold bloodworm to tropical fish keepers, but that was about 10 years ago now. These days many venues ban the use of it as a bait so i've been unable to source it, especially this time of year when its not in great supply. No reason you cant use it though mate. be interested to know if you can find some!

I buy blister packs of frozen brine shrimp so shouldnt see any reason why you cant freeze it.

Cheers buddy, i will have a word with my old man as he is a avid coarse fisherman. I will have him ask around to see if they can get some.

As for the BBS i was thinking of using some old ice cube trays i have lying around. Just freezing it if the water that they hatched i assume would be best ?
