What is the minimum size tank for a blood parrot?

(i know about all the cruel breeding and stuff before you say anything. I love them, end of.

I'd say a 30gallon if its only 1 Blood parrot. Bigger is better and you have more stocking options. IMO its not cruel to breed them. They show no signs of suffering. Main problems can be swim bladder issues and having difficulty eating.

Blood parrots can be kept in a 40g. my friend kept one in a 20 gallon and it did fine for a long time! I don't know how long it was but I remember him having it at least a year, i moved away though. And haven't really asked about it much.
