i was going to post in the hybrid section but i saw the last post was dec 22nd and would like an answer within the next coupe of hours instead of overnight or something. anyways its about what the title says. i noticed her egg tube came out more and sure enough theres eggs on their rock cave. im pretty sure the other one is a female too because she has an egg tube. i didnt think they could have babies but a guy at my lfs told me today that they have a breeding pair..then showed me the whole setup, parents and fry. they were about 9 inches long though. anyways if they will hatch does anyone know how long until they do? its been 2 days now. thanks everyone

Well gpd to know then. Is there anything I should know or do to keep them alive? I have a spare 10 gallon to keep some fry in

I'd say about 99% of Male BP are infertile so I'd say its highly unlikely anything will come of it i'm afriad,
if the eggs go white then the father is infertile

Also is there anything else in the tank that could have bred with the female?

White as opposed to clear? I'd say they're infertile then...she sure does a good job at fanning and protecting them
