Ok I would try and look for him to make sure he hasn't passed on.

usually you have a 7 day returns on fish if i was you i'd pack up the dead one and the live ones if they start looking iffy and take them back to the shop and demand an exchange
i have had to do this a few times i've even frozen a dead fish so i could take it back cos i couldn't get there til the weekend- of course i phoned them first and told them i was comming back cos it sure sounds like that fish was already ill .
YOu dont seem to be having much luck with the danios maybe you should try some white clouds - even the gold or long fin variety cos they are really hardy and lots of fun to watch they are a great first fish

I agree with what Sarah said. Having cut my teeth when I was a teenager working in fish stores, I would take them back and try smething else. A bad batch might have gotten shipped in. If it did come with the fish from the store, the owner will have had the same trouble and will understand.
