Blood Fin Tetras Active At Night

I have a group of blood fin tetras and during the day they are quite placid and dont move much; but at about 7 o'clock until I put the lights off, they get really active and shoal beautifully.

Is this quite normal of blood fin tetras. It would be nice if to see themmore active during the day.
