right......

got mollie.......(livebearers)

gourami (both male)

and six cory......egg layers??

got about a billion snails too.

the other day two cluster of "blobs" appeared on the glass.....

they are about the size of a pin head......

what are they?

are they cory egg?

cos nothing else in there can "lay eggs".........??

what colour are the blobs?
white? clear/opaque? pink? green?

pin "HEAD", not pin "prick"......sized.

snails eggs are like a jelly though aint they?
and we have NEVER seen this type of thing before, despite have billions of snails!

the "eggs" are clear with a little brown spot in the middle.......?

If they don't have a jelly like substance around it, but are individual eggs laid right next to eachother, then it's more than likely corydoras eggs indeed :)

I've got about a 100 peppered corydoras fry right now, they're great fish to look after :p Try saving them? If they're corydoras eggs they should hatch in about 3/6 days.

Yes you can :) Make sure they've been laid a couple of hours ago at least though. They have to harden up before you can move them. You can either suck them off the window by syphoning with an airhose, use a razor blade to take them off the window, or simply roll them off with your fingers :)

Make sure that when you put them in a seperate tank, they will have filter flow going over them to stop fungus growing on them :)

It's quite likely they'll hatch any time soon then :) Mind you though, corydoras fry are absolutely tiny (smaller than livebearer fry) and will get eaten by pretty much everything, sometimes even their parents.

It is ofcourse also possible that your other fish have been nipping at the eggs and 'broken' them. Chances are they won't hatch. Wait another 3 days at least to be on the safe side I'd say :)

If you want to save the cory eggs, and fry, move them to another tank with something with the effect of a air stone. when removing the eggs to another tank, make sure the eggs are in the water at all times, never out of water, and the tank you use to raise the fry should be the same water as the tank that they were laid in.

this should also be moved to the catfish forum.

"scrapped" some NEW ones from the glass, kept them in a little fine mesh net suspended at the top of the tank as a make shift breeding unit......

TWO HAVE HATCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
