One of my male threadfins has today developed a bloated belly and is floating near the surface by the filter. He occasionally comes down and swims with the others.
No protruding scales or other symptoms.
I fed them this morning, and bloating has appeared since.
Is this constipation or an internal bacteria infection??
I have some interpet anti internal bacteria but dont want to dose the tank if I can avoid.
If I do have to dose, will it affect other fish? How will it affect my parameters (tank has just finished cycling)? Do I need to replace any filter media afterwards?
