bloated pictus cat

three weeks ago i bought 2 pictus cats and they have been doing really well except one has been getting fatter and fatter and now it has a huge belly does anyone know whats going on please help i love my fish alot and would hate to loose them

i wouldnt worry to much mine was fat when i bought it and i'v had it for 2 yaers now but keep an eye on it because i'm not shore about urs. hope every thing goes well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the fish having veg and frozen foods in it diet, also check underneath the fish does it look sunken in.

he eats tropical fish food/bottom feeder waffers/ algae wafers and brine shrimp. I have many more fish in my 80 gal as well.

he does not appear to be sunkin in

i dont know if the problem could be my ph. it sits at 6.2 {that is what it comes out of the tap at}

Give him some veg to many dried foods are not a good thing, also are you over feeding him.

I THINK CUCUMBER IS GOOD FOR THEM BUT DONT TRY IT UNTIL SOMEONE ELSE SES IT IS BECAUSE I'M NOT THAT SHORE!!!!!!!!!!

he is in the tank with 13 other fish so i dont feed him those foods on purpose he just end up eating them

what kinds of veggies do you think are ok for them

Peas,cucumba,broc,green cabbage etc.

Look here under p as it mentions your problems and they don't eat veg which I didn't no.
