so what do you recommend i do..
move her and the male to a hospital tank?
do i need to feed them?

Leave the male and female in the tank is the best. See how they do. If they have bred before then they should be fine, but if its their first time then they may need some practice.

i was told when they were in the lfs that they had spawn in there tank..
im actually picking up a breeding tank tonight luckily enough :good:

It would be better for the fish to leave them in their tank. Moving them will cause stress which can prevent them from spawning. Aslong as theres plenty of places for them to lay their eggs, and theres no fish that would threaten their eggs, leave them in.

You really dont want to be moving them atall, any stress you may cause will prevent eggs being laid.

Yes... But if you see any aggression between the male and female, sepparate the male from the female and eggs.

the female is tilting to the side and hovering near the bottom of the tank.is that normal?
