Hey everyone. Well, after several months of great health, Derlock my crowntail betta is sick! Ack! :-(
He has been living in a 5 gallon tank with a sponge filter for about a month, but he has gone back and forth between that one and a 10 gallon.
Right now he is in the 10 gallon, which houses 3 corydoras catfish. In both tanks I've been doing water changes every 3 days or so cause they're bare bottom and I'm finicky about my fish's health after the bout I went through a few weeks ago.
Ph: 7
Ammonia:0
Nitrites:0
Nitrates: 5-10
Non planted.
AC30 filter.
50 watt heater
Symptoms: swollen belly. I think it's his belly, hard to tell with all those fins. it looks like a balloon almost. I'll post a pic up here, too so you can see.

He wasn't being as coopertive as I would like, but I think I sort of managed to show you what I mean.

I feed him Hikari micro wafers, as well as blood worms once a week or so.
I haven't seen him goto the toilet today, so maybe it is constipation.
He's swimming fine, acting normal. Coming to see me as per usual when I'm around. I will try the shelled peas, though.
Thanks.

He's looking a little better today. Phew. I didn't feed him at all last night, but I will try shelled peas today and see if that makes a difference.

Ok good luck.

Looks better. He ate some of the shelled pea I gave him. Cories enjoyed the rest.
Thanks, Wilder. :D
