Ok my first post so sorry if i miss any info out and would be SOO grateful for some help for Claud (my gold sucking loach)!
about a week ago Claud got really fat and bloated so did some research and decided to try peas to see if this would help if he was constipated (I dont like to just start chucking in meds), worked a treat and he went back to normal in about 24hrs but then about another 24hrs later he was the same again so decided to try a vegie diet for a couple of days to try and flush out his system so hes had some peas and cucumber, 4days on and no joy. Noticed him pooping earlier today but it was kind of cloudy white and stringy, ive read this might be signs of an internal bacteria? or dropsy? Other than that i noticed him last evening flicking against some rocks which is a bad sign.

tank: 95L, 6months old

tank mates: 2 red honey dwarf gourami,3 shrimp, 2 bumble bee loach, 4 dalmation mollies (2 adult, 2 babies), 2 female siamese and 1 male siamese

levels: nitrite 0, nitrate 0, ammonia 0, ph 7.6, temp. 26 degrees celcius

other stuff: had another dwarf gourami with cotton fungus and been given some primafix with my other 90L tank, have no joy finding an isolation tank yet so treated in the 95L tank for 7days, gourami was doing great until I stayed away 1 night next day he died, did the water change as bottle described on the 7th day and stopped treating then, about 3wks ago. do regular water changes weekly about 30%, normally feed claud algae wafers each evening (shared with the bumblebees and shrimp) and eveyone gets some bloodworm once a week (or something similar, daphinia etc). I have also niticed today that the adult mollies are occationally hanging vertically and one did a fatter more sort of solid clear/white poo, other than that acting normal.

have been searching for answers for days but nothing sounds quite the same, would be SO grateful for some advice!!

Has the fungus gone. if it was fluffy looking it sounds like columnaris.

Your fish might have internal parasites or bacterial infection.
Signs of internal parasites are.

Fish will look bloated or skinny.
Enlarged anus or red inflamed anus.
Long stringy white poo or clear mucas poo.
Bent spine sometimes.
Fish will sometimes swim on its side.
Sunken in belly sometimes.
Worms prutruding from the anus.
Sometimes fish will sometimes flick and rub.

You can keep male betta with females in small tanks.

Camallanus

Symptoms:

When the fish is stationary, deep red worms can be seen protruding from the anal pore. They are only visible when the fish is still because the worms retreat into the intestine at the fish’s slightest movement. Other signs may include an inflamed and enlarged anus. In severe infestations, the fish may become emaciated and spinal curvature may also occur.

Cause:

The parasitic worms Camallanus Cotti and Camallanus lacustris. These small, livebearing parasitic worms attach to the intestinal walls and rectum with pinchers. The worm’s grip is so tight that any attempts to remove it forcibly will rip away tissue from the intestinal wall. The worm’s pinching causes ischemia (reduced blood flow) to that part of the intestine. In time, the tissue to that part of the intestine will die, at which time the worm will migrate to another part of the intestine. This causes perforations throughout the intestine, which allows other pathogens to gain entry. If the fish is not treated, either the parasite or bacterial will kill the fish. Camallanus infestations occur most often in livebearing fish such as Guppies and Mollies, though infection is possible in all fish. Camallanus infestations are contagious. All fish, including those not yet showing visible symptoms, as well as the aquarium, should be treated.

Treatment:

Treat with Internal Parasite Guard, Pipzine, Disco-Worm, Trichlorfon or Fluke-Tabs as well as a medicated food to prevent a bacterial infection.

the fish with the fungus has died and no others are showing any signs of having it.

he doesnt have any worms protruding but is looking v.sorry for himself :(
thanks for your help, do you know which of those are avaliable in the UK? and they wont affect my bumblebee loachs or bettas because i know they can be quite sensitive to certain meds?

have you heard of Sterazin Aquarium Treatment or Octozin - Anti Internal Parasite Fish Tank Treatment??
if so are they any good?

The waterlife meds are no good on camallanous worms. I used waterlife meds in the past and they never did a thing.
