Tank size: 6 gallon
pH: 6.5
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 20

tank temp:74

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):Female guppy is really bloated. Perhaps her gills are a bit inflamed also. She is hanging around in the top corner of the tank, not swimming around at all. She was doing this for the last three days, and not eating either. Today when I got up she was fine, belly back to normal, she was swimming again. After eating she went back to the top corner and isn't doing anything. I thought at first that she was just hiding (I have a very mean glow fish (zebra danio) that picks on everyone). My tetras hide from the glowfish a lot, but still swim and come out, she does nothing, and is super bloated. She isn't pine-coning that I can tell. No other symptoms I can see.

Volume and Frequency of water changes: about 30% weekly

Chemical Additives or Media in your tank: iron & trace for plants

Tank inhabitants: 6 neon tetras, 1 mean glowfish, 1 female guppy

Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration): the guppy is the most recent, two weeks ago. And, my ph was dipping down to 6 so I threw in some sea shells.

Exposure to chemicals: none

If the glow fish is causing stess in the tank you might want to think of rehoming him.
What do you feed your fish.
What does it look like when she goes to the toilet.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Red gills can be bad water quality, bacterial gillrot, gill flukes.
How old is the guppy.

I would definitely take out the glow fish but would have no where to put him, only have the one tank, and I don't know anyone else with fish. If I brought him to a fish store would they take it?

I feed the fish tetramin tropical flakes. Don't know what the poo looks like, haven't seen her do it in a long time, last I saw it was fine. No itching, no rubbing, and the gills look a little red, and seem a bit puffy too. I have no idea how old she is, although she has never had much color, a bit of yellow on the tail so she may be young.

I will do a water change tomorrow to see if it helps, but I just did a change on Saturday.

You need to improve the fish diet with some frozen foods like daphnia which help the fish digest its food, brimstrimp, and some green veg.
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down and pop out of shell, mush into small pieces and add to the tank.

Has the glow fish been pecking at her gills.
Phone the lfs to see if they would take the glow fish back.
For bloating epson salt baths to help draw the fluids out.
If you think she look in bad shape maybe try a bacterial med, but its best to issolate sick fish and treat in isolation tank.

Ok, I did a water change, and I fed my fish some peas, no one touched the peas, but the snails cleaned up the mess so it didn't hurt anything I suppose. Guppy is doing badly this morning, and I have noticed the poo, long white and stringy, can't remember what that means but I know it's bad

Long stringy white poo can mean constipation, bacterial infection, internal parasites.
Check her anus to see if its enlarged or red and inflamed.
