Bloated Betta!

HELP!!!! I have a female betta in a ten gallon. It's stocked with one female guppy and the betta.

I woke up this morning to check on my guppy because she's pregnant, then I noticed that my betta was EXTRAMLY BLOATED!

Symptoms:

The bloated area is as deep as her head
It’s a dark yellow and purple
She also seems to be rather grumpy to my guppy

She always was a little more bloated than my other bettas. I always tried putting her on a diet, but when she seems better I let her eat with my guppy and she gets bloated again . Today it has gotten way worse. She looks like a balloon platy .

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! NOTHING IS WORKING!

Just a thought but is your guppy still pregnant? I mean, your betta hasn't been having a feast has she?

no i dont think so. but something is makeing her bloated. i did think of that but my is still preggie.

try feeding her some deshelled pea, fasting for 2days, more deshelled pea etc

if that doesn't work then i don't know what will

it has always worked for my bloated guys and gals

if u can, then isolate her from the other fish so u know she is not eating the other food
