Bloated Angel

I have several Angels but one, female I think, is now enormously bloated.Hasn't responded to treaetment for bacterial or parasites.Looks like it will explode anytime soon.Never seen anything like it in 30 years of keeping. Any thoughts or advice?

Either constipation, or egg bound. Epsom salt works for constipation, start with one teaspoon per 10 gallons of water. Increase by a teaspoon per 10 gallons daily for a few days to bring it uo to 3 teaspoons per 10 gallons.

If this doesn't work, and you are sure it's a female, it could be egg bound. The only cure for this is fasting the fish, and hoping the eggs get readsorbed. You will have to fast for at least 2 weeks, perhaps a month. If she's egg bound, her breeding days are over.
