Blanket weed in tropical aquariums.

Help. I am plagued by blanket weed in my tropical tank. Does anybody have any ideas about getting rid of it.

get a fork and knife out. maybe some ranch too

Only one way that I know of once it's gotten hold, and that's with chemicals.

Check out your fish store and look for 'Hair Algae remover'
If you have delicate fish such as discus, some sharks and puffers, use half doses.
