Hi,

I've taken an interest in bladderworts, primarily because they are rootless and form floating mats, the following is a good site for info on them (although specific to America):

Does anybody have any experience with these, are they easy/difficult to keep? Also (I know this might sound stupid!), but potential fry aside, would it pose any problems for my fish? I'm really after some good cover for my fish.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Most have bladders so small that there is no danger for fish/shrimp fry etc., much of this concept is pure myth. Some bladderworts do root, check out utricularia graminifolia, which forms grass-like carpets in the right conditions.

U. stellaris is a nice weed, grows very fast.

Regards,

Any ideas where I could pick up some U. stellaris?
