Black Swordtail fry

My black swordtail female died a couple of days ago while giving birth. Sigh. She was such a little cutie. I'm really hoping that some of her babies will be black but I can't tell yet. Does anybody who's had black swordtail fry know how long it will be before you can tell if they will be black, right now they are still colorless. I can usually tell within a few days if they are going to be oranges or reds, marigolds usually take a lot longer as do my pineapples. I haven't had any little black guys in years so I can't remember how soon they color up.

I have platies which are similar and they seem to start getting color at about 2 weeks. It's more of a gradual process though, a little more each day.
