My angel is eating antibiotics in the food for columnaris; the columnaris is very close to gone now.

Today I noticed some black patches on my angel’s body about 2-3mm across, and some of her finnage has black patches too…What the heck is this??!!

I can get a picture if required...

Thank for any help

Black patches on fish can be ammonia burns that are healing so water stats would be good in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph.

Due to bacterial infections as well, i woundn't worry to much, look under black patches.

Working on pics and stats, I do test regualary but I NEVER find ammonia so Ive reduced ammonia testing...Ill get this info and pics soon.....

I woundn't worry to much as if you have used antibiotics ammonia rises in the tank, as it wipes all the bacteria out causing a cycle affect, just seeing patches of black that are healing.
