Black Spots Developed On Molly

Hi, my yellow Molly has developed little black spots mainly on her sides. They don't seem to be bothering her, she's eating fine. Any ideas what this could be, if anything? Thanks.

the black spots  are a colour Pigmentation Nothing to worry about

it's a sickness called black spot similar to ick. it was either brought to your tank by snails or the tank you got it from but don't worry, it won't do much harm. hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies people. I didn't know how to post a picture on here but I did post a couple in the photos forum under the same heading. Many thanks.

Will black spot go on its own or do I need to treat it? No other fish seem to have these spots.
