Black Shark spazzed out hit the roof, now extremely stuggling to swim. Completely all of a sudden thing. But he was shakling upside down. Banged nose real bad. What should i do??
I know it just happened at the time i was in panic mode and running around like a mad man. He has a decently bad wound on his nose now and is in a 10g quarentine being treated with melafix. He is right side up but is swimming rather sporadically. I dont know what caused this, he was fine but was swimming rather sluggishly after a water change and then snapped and hurt himself. Then he was upside down for a few minutes and he started to come right side up. Thats when I put him in the quarentine. I just did results on my tests. And i found there is actually a slight bit of ammonia in the water. This is shocking and a first. I had to take out media on my last quarentine that i never replaced. Do you think this slight bit of ammonia is from not enough media or something else? Anyone know?
No but he wasnt sick, he was fine then early that day after a water change he seemed sick and then later on in the day he hurt himself. By the way he died, i cant beleive it. Everything so sudden. But i want to know what caused his death
No there wasnt any fin clamping. He hit his nose very hard on the roof enough to start bleeding and send him into spasms. I dont think he was feeling well before though. This was the first sporatic thing hes ever done, not once has he ran into anything or swim up to the roof
