They would be fine together,I have a red-tail shark and khulis together, and there fine. The khulis aren't territorial fish by all means, so they shouldn't fuss with the shark at all.

Ummmm you are aware black sharks get to just under two feet right? It might work for a while, but at some point the kuhlis would be dinner.

Though if by black shark you mean a red tailed black shark, or a red finned black shark, you should be fine.

well I also have a black shark, and have done a lot of research on them, and have also talked to somebody with expierence, and some sites say 9-12", I have talked to a guy that has had one for years and it hasnt grown over 9" for years, so with this and other information I have gathered I have found that in the wild they may hit 22" but in captivity it is extremely unlikely, despite what everybody says.

As for the Kuhli Loaches I am unsure just for the reason they may become lunch as mentioned even with the sharks at 9-12",, but that is just the only reason I would figure it wouldnt work.

I did find upon research that one site did say it would work...
try googling it

Off to bed..

I've never owned a black shark, but kuhli loaches are long and thin, and would make a perfect dinner.... Especially if the fish gets to 12 icnh or so.

I know of a few people who own 20+ inch black sharks...

I would love any pictures of them, would be pretty sweet looking
