Black & Orange Clowns

I have just finished cycling my 180 litre tank (Fowlr), introduced cuc yesterday and am begining to think about getting fish.

My girlfriend really wants either of the two below options:

1.)Two pairs of clown fish, one pair being black and the other orange. I have heard that they may fight, is my tank big enough for them to live in?

2.)One pair consisting of one black and one orange. Can this be done?

You cannot have two pairs in your sized tank.

Many people have successfully mixd black and orange they just BOTH MUST be ocellaris clowns and NOT perculas. Still, it is not guarenteed to work out. You will have to watch cArefully and make sure they accept each other.

For best results i suggest,
Captive bred juveniles both as small as posible and adding them At the same time.

Just posting to confirm what Nemo has already said really. For two pairs of clowns you need a big tank. You can mix b&w with orange (I have done so) but it isn't guaranteed, however no clownfish pairing is, my orange clown bullied the hell out of the first orange clown it went in with but was fine with the B&W one.

I have actually had more luck with getting one large clown and one juvenile rather then getting two juviniles as in my experience this has led to less fighting as the juvenile already knows its place so there is not a lot of extending fighting between them to work out dominance. This is just my limited experience though.
