I have had two black mollies for a while now and have just introduced a male and female krib which they are both very agressive towards. The constantly chase the two kribs around the tank, the two kribs end up having to hide most of the time out of their way. I keep removing the mollies to give the kribs a break! Has anyone else had this problem with mollies as I thought they were a peaceful fish?

Mollies the most aggressive livebearer there is, and they are moody, plenty of hiding spaces to they settle down.

Of all fish, mollies must be the species I dislike the most :p Still, they aren't all that bad and they shouldn't be able to inflict any real damage on your kribs. In time things should settle down but add some more hiding places, re-arange the tank and take the mollies out for a couple of days to help the situation. Oh and it's true that mollies are probably one of the more aggressive of the common livebearers (ie compared to platies, guppies, endler's and swordtails) but I assure you there are worse livebearers (goodeids are a pain...) as far as tankmates being harassed goes.

mollies are defently the most agressive live barrier so i would suggest geting more plants and rearrange the tank a bit so the fish cant dominate. AND PLEASE DO NOT KEEP NETING THE FISH UP AND MOVING THEM AROUD IT PUTS ALOT OF STRESS ON THE FISH .
