Black Lyetail Pregnant Mollie

My black lyetail mollie is pregnant. Her skin on her belly is slowly turning white. Why is this? Should I be worried?

Not sure with info provided, but it could be that as her belly swells the lighter colored skin under the scales could becoming more visable. I do not have any experience with black fish but I think that it is the scales that give the black color and the skin undreneath may be a much lighter color. My orange swordies seem to get much lighter on the belly as they get more pregnant. HTH

I think paulthegreat is right. My black molly fry are getting fat and the same thing is happening on their tummies.

Ok thanks guys... I was worried cause everyday she gets bigger and more white shows but if you say yours are doing the same thing than I guess im safe
