Black Ghost Knife

Just one quick question, can these guys be kept with large peaceful cichlids like Severums, or is it best to steer clear?

yep they can be kept with large peaceful cichlids. Make sure they have a hiding place that can't be moved by the cichlids and watch the black ghost doesn't start chewing up the cichlids.

my black ghost knife got eat of my 3" gold severum n id like 2 get another but its not worth the risk, i came in 1 day n the ghost knife was hanging out of the severums mouth, not very nice

provided they are similar sized you should be ok, i have one with my 7" nicaraguence.

I would try to give them 1 or 2 vertical hiding places, ever since i added 2 very bushy tall artificial plants my BGK has tended to retreat to their whenever he is bothered.
