the tank is a 32g/144L size 90x40x40cm

To being with the tank is too small to house a full grown BGK. A 75 gallon + tank would be ideal

1.how tall do they grow

They grow 6" tall and depending on the species/strain they can get around 6" tall.

2.do they like big numbers or would 2 be fine

The best thing to do would be buy 6, give them time to grow and form a pair and then keep the pair and get rid of the other fish.

3.are there any types that arnt very agressive.

There isnt much difference, some people claim that marble angels are more aggresive but i'v never noticed a difference.

just leting u know the 32g is just for the BGK till he gets bigger he is only like 4" when u first get him.new tank is getting made as we speek.. and its 80g

Sorry for hijacking but out of curiosity how big do BGK get, exactly?

50cm+ they can live upto 50 years as well, they are a very slow growing fish, by the time is out grows that 32g it will be 10 years or so.

Wow. Maybe I could get one for my 46 gallon, what do you think? Are they highly predatory? I've heard they are blind so they can't be that dangerous to smaller fish...

yep they are blind but use electric fealds to sence stuf(sorry about spelling)
so yep little fish will get eaten they also they need realy good water ur tests have to be perfect. and they like beeing on sand..they are realy cute but now i just need somethig to live with my boy.

I have two Angels and a BGK, in my 300l and its fine. They don't bother one another at all. All I would say is watch out for the size of your tank. The Angel will grow quite tall, 5-6" but this won't happen over night! So a future upgrade is ok.

IME buying two angels works well, I bought two about 3-4yrs back and I was lucky because they are actually a breeding pair :D And there still going strong! Well ok the're in a hospital tank just now due to HITH  but fingures crossed! ;)

thanks for that..

im just trying to find somethign to go in with my BGK that wont annoy him and wont grow to huge...

do all angels get realy tall oro nly some breeds ..as u can tell i dont know much about them :) but im learning
