black eye

So...this goldfish has one eye that has a white outer with a black pupil, and one eye that's entirely black. does this mean anything? could it be blind or something?

just wondering...sorry for wasting your time

Is this a "feeder" goldfish? If it is, they are usally inbred in large ponds...I once had one that was missing an eye and had 3 tails!

I don't think we have feeder goldfish here, it's illegal

it jsut seemed odd that all our other goldfish have white round black eyes and this one is all black, probably doesn't mean anything though

Well its probably bred the same way as feeder fish here. Probably just a slight mutation...

Sounds like it just has two different coloured eyes... as long as the pupil is black, I wouldn't think it's a blind eye
