Black convicts

I have a pair of black convicts that just had babies a month ago. First they were busy protecting their frys But now, the male has started attacking the female. Won't even let her eat.

I seperated them with a plastic partition. I removed the partition to see what would happen . He immediately went for her.

Should I just wait till frys are bigger maybe he'll have someone else to take his aggression on?
