BRISTOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had to get my bike repaired and there is a pets at home right next to halfords, naturally, i wandered over to look at the bettas. i saw some ordinary tri's reds and blues (all VT) and was just about to leave when out of the corner of my eye i spotted a dark figure swim out from some dense plants. it was a betta, black bodied, with smoky yellow fins, with royal blue tips. his fins were raggedy, but i fell in love with him. i've had him nearly a month and his fins are all good now, and hes just built a bubble nest, just thought i'd tell y'all... wooooo... :fish:

They have a pure black CT at my pet shop. :/ Unfortunately they stick it in the plant tank and get the fins ragged up. But I think it's a CT.

Anyhow, by the sound of the fins, could it be a MG?

i agree. just a multi.

technically, the term mustard gas only refers to a fish if it comes specifically from lines bred by the guy who created them (Jude Als).

not that that has stopped anyone from using it, regardless of WHAT color their fish is. Kinda like how some people call all tissues Kleenex and all lip balm Chapstick

Wooooo! I have only ever seen red and blue ones. Try and get some pics of it. Be great to see what he looks like! :D

i have to get rid of him..... i'm in bristol. i'm using a library as my computer caught fire and hence cannot get any pics... . best example of what he looks like is this:

http://www.bettatalk.com/betta_colors.htm

the one described as chocolate... his fins are a lot less yellow and a lot more grey, and his body is as black as the 'black' betta on the same page. as mentioned earlier, his fins are a bit raggedy...

any offers, local meeting point for pick up only as i dont drive...

pm me
