Bizarre Growth Of Ram

basically i am no fish expert totally on rams anyways, my girlfriend has two balloon rams one of which is reasonably larger than the other, i have noticed a growth on the larger one just a small white string about 1mm out of its anus but the smaller of the two appears to have quite a large amount around the same area. it looks like shards of white not sure if its bacteria or what??

curios as to what it may be, only the other day the same ram had a small white lump on is forehead which has now disappeared after being treated with anti fungus, as i had this occur to one of my own fish, but now this wierd growth has appeared...... any ideas peoples?

Does it look like worms or fish waste.
Is the anus enlarged, or red and inflamed.
What do you feed the fish.
Do any fish look skinny or bloated.
