People keep asking me what i want for my birthday, i have no idea but its usually fish related so i was thinking of upgrading bits of my orca 550. I was thinking skimmer and lighting/night leds. Can anybody point me the right direction in regards to what to change and where to get it, oh and if you feel like telling me how to install i will be grateful lol. Also if anyone can think of anything else please suggest! Thanks.

I always ask for fish shop vouchers myself so I can put them to something nice like a nice Acan

But to upgrade the skimmer on the 550 is a bit of a pain there is one you can order from China off flea bay will run you about £15 delivered but it is not much better than what you have.

LEDs are you talking moonlight LEDs or total upgrade to the PC moonlights are a simple 24 blue LED stip from Fleabay a few quid then some clear silicon and stick them on the lip under the PCs. Total LED upgrade is a whole diffrent ball game and will run into the Hundreds.

I added a few extra bits to mine I upgraded the standard return pump to a new jet 1200 for increased flow a cheap and easy to install upgrade.

A couple of Koralia 1s for flow less you already have them.

But to be honest none of these are essential I would go for LFS vouchers and buy some nice stock

Yeah was looking at the night leds or pc ones. Have no idea what im looking for though just want it to be a light brighter! It only has 2 at the moment and you can hardly see them. Thanks for the help.
