Birth?

Fry are very good at hiding. One of my mollies went suddenly skinny, but there was no evidence of fry and I figured they had all been eaten. But a week later, when I did a water change and disturbed their hiding place, two popped out of nowhere. So yours might just be keeping a low profile.

What else is in your tank? It's possible that some were eaten. You're likely to have a few survivors, though. Keep an eye out.

I have four black longfin tetras
4 tetras of unknown species
6 neon tetras
3 mollies
2 platys
1 otto
1 chinese algae eater

Think any of those might have made the fry dinner? I really don't think any were born. I think I would have seen them by now. But I will keep my hopes up.

The mollies and platies will definitely go after fry, and seeing as they sometimes give birth to very small broods, it's possible they were all snatched up. You might have a few surviving, however. Like I said, they tend to turn up.

Also, what kind of filter do you have? Some might have gotten sucked up.

Don't give up just yet. If it's just one or two, they will be very, very shy, and you might not see them for a while. Even if they're are no survivors, you'll probably get a whole new batch in a month or so.
