galaxy rasboras are very popular at the moment. There was an article on the PFK website not so long ago and you can order them online from one of the sponser of this forum. They would be ideal for a biorb as theyre schooling and very small, less than 1"

Thanks for the advice! Seeing as I got a very good deal on a Biorb 30 set up, I'll go with that for now and look into the fish suggestions. I will be asking the advice of various stockists in my area and am not going to just 'chuck' some fish in and 'see how it goes'.

Until I reorganise my home I don't have the space for a rectangular tank. It is on my list of 'things to do' tho :)
 
To be honest, I wouldn't trust the advice of the 'local stockists'- as most people will tell you, half the time they're trying to sell you unsuitable fish. Although if you have the space for a Biorb, you might want to look into some of the more cubular tank setups available for the same price, or often cheaper. Better surface area, better filtration and a much larger fish choice (for instance, it allows you to keep bottom dwellers).
