HI, im new to the forums. i currently have a small 7.5 British gallon tank containing two fighters and a 10 british gallon catfish tank.
Now i have been given a biorb tank from a friend at the cost of £5. If any of you know how many gallons is in this tank i would be gratefull (i would find out myself but there are no dimensions to measure.) Also i would like some ideas as to what i could put in the tank apart from bettas, catfish, tetras or loaches of any kind.

Cheers

Biorbs are either 7g or 15g. Not much fish choice for either, the 7g, one dwarf puffer, the 15g, maybe a school of small fish and a 2" centerpiece.

wow a very fast answer..
Thanks i like the idea of a dwarf puffer and looking at it its probably the 15g biorb

Hi,

There are 2 biorbs the 30 litre and the 60 litre a quick google search for "biorb 30" or "biorb 60" will show you the size so you can tell more easily which you have. bargain at £5 even if they're not the best designed tank.

Emma :)

1) please tell me that you don't have two "fighters" in the same tank. they're called "fighters" for a reason, you know... http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=32461

2) the easiest way to figure out how many gallons your biorb holds is to start filling it up with water using a 5g bucket or a 1g jug.

3) please read the entry in the fish index on dwarf puffers before you acquire one. owning a dwarf puffer can be tricky business. ( http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=90950 )
