Hi, I've had my current biorb tank for the past 2 years. Just sat tonight and pump stopped working. Thought it was a socket issue so plugged in elsewhere and nothing. Upon closer inspection the light case was full of water. Emptied that out, took both the light leads and filter/pump leads put of the transformer plug and then put them back in again. Put the plug back in and again nothing. Then i tried the switch the turn on the lamp, light didnt come on but the pump did! So now I've got the pump working but only with the light switch flushed to on despite no light! Any theories/help please.

You might have a hard time getting any responses, most people on the forum do not have experience with Biorb tanks. I am glad you got the motor running again but have no idea how the lights work. You might consider using a desktop lamp with a daylight balance bulb, or one of the gooseneck aquarium lights available from various sources. Likely something in the light circuit has been damaged.

Which biorb model is it?
Post a photo of the electrics in case anyone can see the problem.
