Hi,
I've stripped down my main tank because of a problem (too complicated to go in to) and am starting from scratch. I have decided to do a fishless cycle after reading all the recomendations on this forum. I am using a product called biomature from Waterlife - anyone have any ideas how long this will take, I've been adding the drops for 4 days and I've no nitirite reading as yet. I am keen to get my surviving fish out of my hospital tank coz I am struggling to keep the amonia down.

You pretty much have bottled bactera, I take it. From what I have read, unless the store/ shippers have taken good care of the bottle, the bacteria is dead before ti is purchased, and is therefore worthless. :/

Hopefully you have a good batch, but I can't really offer feedback since I have never used the stuff.

Biomature is not bottled bacteria, biomature is a nutrient feed to encourage the rapid colonisation of filter bacteria.
I have used seamature to cycle a fish only marine tank and you couldnt add fish while you had the maturing agent in
Not 100% sure but think it is ammonia based
