Biological Filters Explained

It wasn't bad, but I thought that there were a few mistakes and it was a little biased. I guess the bias is understandable, seeing as they are a company that sells filters, but I thought some of the coverage was misleading. For example, they completely misrepresent a tank that is filtered by plants, claiming "very very few fish" is the most you can put in it. That just isn't true at all. But, that company doesn't want people to use plants as a filter, since then they won't have to buy a filter from that company! Definitely biased.

I guess that's a good point about the plants tank, might look that up a bit more.

The best place to "look that up a bit more" about planted tanks with no outside filtration is Diana Walstad's excellent book Ecology of the Planted Aquarium.
