Hi Sheridan, I have the manuel and i think all i'm missing is the bio hex-nodes. Is the biolife 55 a really old filter?...Cheers

They may have been around for a while, but they're still on the market and sold They are supposed to be really good filters. If you're missing the hex nodes, you can use any other ceramic media instead (like the Eheim Efimech).
