Bio Orb 30

hi there this is my first post ,

I have been cycling for a week now but am starting to think about what to keep in my up and coming fishy real estate. I know it won't be much due to tank size. I ideally would love to keep just one Betta??? Could I put any other fish in with it??? Or is it best alone?? What would the maintenance be?? Water changes ect??

Hi and welcome
I love the look of biorbs and I went for a bowl shape in the end (although different brand)
I was advised that the bowl shape doesn't give enough space on the bottom for corys, which are usually suggested as betta companions.
Mixing with other fish is only advised to be attempted in tanks over 10 gallons (30l works out about 8 US gall)
Perhaps try some african dwarf frogs-they are so cool!

one betta is fine, it is best alone, there isnt really isnt anything else suitable apart from shrimp which can be iffy! wash filter media pads every month in old tank water etc, and you would want to do a 30% water change every week
