Hi

I have changed my natural background for a lovely bin bag I may sound stupid but because its black you can see the neon tetras really well. :D
Ill get some pics now if i can.

LOL I'd like to do something similar..... have black sand/gravel, black background, a moonlight effect light with maybe blind cave fish or something... I have a huuuge urge to do that with a red betta though

I did that on my 75 gallon tank. Took a black plastic garbage bag and cut it open and taped it to the tank. It was the only thing I could find that was big enough and cheap enough. It looks really good, not one person has guessed what it is.

same here, looks the best with small community fish

DD

haha thanks at least Im not on my own Its just that I didnt want ot paint it because I will have nerly the same affect and it takes ages to getit of i bet so I think this is the best way.On monday at school Im going to get a blue sheet of paper to the size of my tank and try that as well.

I thought i'd give this ago.

But was dissapointed when I realised the bin bag had " Recycled. Medway Council" plastered accross it :p

cant you turn it inside out.?

I'm going to try a 'Tuck-lock' bin bag, do you know them. They are really thick and durable. Less likely to pull or rip.

I'll do it when I can be arsed to
How much are regular aquarium back grounds? Anyone know?
