Big big pic of mouth (those ARE his real teeth) err,.. well, these'll be the only 2 pics of him :p enjoy anyways though

Crikey ! Big Steve is exactly as I expected him to look like though !
I can see why you asked if your fish would mind ;)

Yea, big steve is real! Of course! he weighed 267 pounds when we caught him, and is 6 foot 7' long. Caught him off the Miami Florida coast in 2001.

^^^ When they mount a fish, I'm pretty sure they have to use fake plastic eyes.

Wow, great catch, PapaSmurf! :D

I knew the eyes would be fake but exactly which part is real?.....the skin doesnt look real......other than the jaw and the teeth it could just be a plastic shark with a real sharks jaw.

Do they spray the skin with something?

How is it "Cool" that someone has taken such a big fish from its native waters, and probably exposed it to a horribly slow death..

What the hell makes you want to fish for sharks? Sardines or something like that i can vaugly understand, but not a graceful creature such as a shark.

*sigh*

Ben

i love catching sharhs.last time i went to florida hooked up on a 10 ft+ bull.long ride and then no glory.

looks real to me. They treat the skin and inject the flesh to stop aerobic and anaerobic decay - eyes are pulled out as they will go while like golf balls over time.

Also some ppl need to cool thier jets. I guess you would be able to claim some argument if you are a vegetarian and therefore dont eat animals / advocate any hunting sports. I hate and detest foxhunting, but i like my bacon sarnies. Its a double edged sword. You cant say - oh weve been eating pigs for hundreds of years so its okay. Where do we draw the line. Sharks?

It can be construed as barbaric / ill treatment / suchlike , but everyone has thier own opinions and it wont be resolved on this forum. So just comments on Big steve please.
