The rainbows are about two inches smaller than he is, he makes them look puny :flex:

Here's the story: When my dad moved all the big jewels out of his 70g, he kept big red, who we had for around six years. Unfortunatly, the only space available was a little algae covered 15g  We felt bad for Big red, whom had been the king of his own 70g for 6 years, and trapped in the 15 alone for two months, so we put him with my rainbows, Synodontis, and clown pleco. BR and the clown pleco actually lived in that 70g for 5 years together  He's a mean fish, I think he's just glad to have some cichlid company after two months, that would explain why the rainbows aren't chewed up  Don't worry, I'll keep my eye on them :shifty:

He is mean :p Just being friendly until the perfect time to strike :shifty: He is a very beautiful fish, possibly the most of all of me and my dad's fish  Thanks :D

He doesn't have to be mean , he knows who's KING

Oh yea !!!! 6+" of calm before the storm ...........................actually I think he's too old to even want to mix it up any more

I guess I should take him off my sig .

They're a mated pair, in mating coloration :p I actually have three, but the third one (female) lives with my oddballs

I liked Big Mo  , in the pet store he/she :dunno: picked me ,kept coming to the front of the tank every time I came by to look at him , that is until I caved in and bought him .[ he was the only gudgeon in a tank with about 20 other fish , mostly cichlids ]

Either he was very friendly or always very hungry  .

I still miss that fish , quite a charactor  .

Never saw any fish like that when I was a kid  . plenty of Jewels , I've always liked Jewels
We still have little Mo .
