I know i'm supposed to soak it to get the tannins out. But can I just put it in the pool? Or will the chlorine seep in and kill my fish later?

That's how big the wood is, i cna't find a suitable bucket

Maybe in your bath tub? you could fill it with really hot water to try and speed the process up...good luck

You can buy a cheap plastic rubbish bin from most DIY stores.
